{"id":11551,"date":"2011-05-19T08:30:44","date_gmt":"2011-05-19T13:30:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.headlineplanet.com\/home\/?p=11551"},"modified":"2011-05-19T08:42:58","modified_gmt":"2011-05-19T13:42:58","slug":"the-cw-moves-90210-nikita-announces-one-tree-hill-final-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/headlineplanet.com\/home\/2011\/05\/19\/the-cw-moves-90210-nikita-announces-one-tree-hill-final-season\/","title":{"rendered":"The CW Moves &#8220;90210,&#8221; &#8220;Nikita,&#8221; Announces &#8220;One Tree Hill&#8221; Final Season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nothing unexpected came in the scheduling announcement for The CW Thursday, with the smallest of the five major networks generally sticking to a rumored schedule that leaked earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>Moving next season will be &#8220;90210&#8221;&#8211;after its failure to do anything special in the Monday at 8PM timeslot, it returns to its Tuesday at 8PM timeslot this fall.  &#8220;Gossip Girl,&#8221; will move up an hour to 8PM on Mondays, clearing the way for new series &#8220;Hart of Dixie&#8221; to land at 9PM.<\/p>\n<p>Leading out of &#8220;90210&#8221; on Tuesdays will be &#8220;Ringer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Also moving will be &#8220;Nikita,&#8221; which lands in the vacated &#8220;Smallville&#8221; slot at 8PM on Fridays.  &#8220;Supernatural&#8221; stays put as a lead-out.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Nikita&#8221; move allows the similarly-branded &#8220;Secret Circle&#8221; to receive the &#8220;The Vampire Diaries&#8221; lead-in on Thursdays.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One Tree Hill,&#8221; which is held for midseason along with new reality series &#8220;The Frame&#8221; and &#8220;Re-modeled,&#8221; will indeed air its final season, the network confirmed in its announcement.<\/p>\n<p>The schedule and new series details follow:<br \/>\nMONDAY<br \/>\n8 pm Gossip Girl<br \/>\n9 pm HART OF DIXIE<\/p>\n<p>TUESDAY<br \/>\n8 pm 90210<br \/>\n9 pm RINGER<\/p>\n<p>WEDNESDAY<br \/>\n8 pm H8R<br \/>\n9 pm America\u2019s Next Top Model<\/p>\n<p>THURSDAY<br \/>\n8 pm The Vampire Diaries<br \/>\n9 pm THE SECRET CIRCLE<\/p>\n<p>FRIDAY<br \/>\n8 pm Nikita<br \/>\n9 pm Supernatural<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHART OF DIXIE\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fast-talking New Yorker and brand new doctor Zoe Hart has it all figured out \u2013 after graduating top of her class from medical school, she\u2019ll follow in her father\u2019s footsteps and become a cardio-thoracic surgeon.  But when her dreams fall apart, Zoe decides to accept an offer from a stranger, Dr. Harley Wilkes, to work with him at his small practice in Bluebell, Alabama.  Zoe arrives in this small Gulf Coast town only to find that Harley has passed away and left his half of the medical practice to her in his will.  She quickly finds that Southern hospitality isn\u2019t always so hospitable \u2013 the other doctor in town, Brick Breeland, is less than pleased to be sharing the practice with this young outsider, and his daughter, Lemon, is a Southern belle whose sweet disposition turns sour when she meets Zoe.  Zoe\u2019s only allies are the mayor, former football star Lavon Hayes, her bad-boy neighbor Wade Kinsella, and handsome lawyer George Tucker \u2013 who just happens to be Lemon\u2019s fianc\u00e9. Bridget is six months sober and starting to turn her life around when she is the sole witness to a professional hit.  Despite the assurances of her FBI protector, Agent Victor Machado, Bridget knows her life is on the line.  She flees to New York, telling no one, not even her Narcotics Anonymous sponsor, Malcolm.  In New York, Bridget reunites with her estranged twin, Siobhan.  Wealthy, pampered and married to the strikingly handsome Andrew Martin, Siobhan lives what appears to be a fairy tale life \u2013 a life where no one knows that Bridget exists.  The Sisters seem to be mending their frayed relationship, until Siobhan disappears mysteriously, and Bridget makes the split decision to take on her sister\u2019s identity.  She discovers shocking secrets, not only about her sister and her marriage, but also about Siobhan\u2019s best friend, Gemma, and Gemma\u2019s husband, Henry.  And when someone tries to kill Bridget in her sister\u2019s penthouse, she realizes she is no safer as Siobhan than she is as herself.
