“Mission: Impossible – Fallout” opens nationwide on Friday, July 27.<\/p>\n
Three days earlier, cast member Henry Cavill will make a daytime talk show appearance.<\/p>\n
The actor will be the interview guest on the July 24 “Live With Kelly & Ryan.” As of press time, he is the only celebrity listed for the broadcast.<\/p>\n
It will be interesting to see if Cavill discusses fallout from his recent GQ interview. The actor drew ire for his comments regarding how the #MeToo movement has impacted the courtship process.<\/p>\n
“I think a woman should be wooed and chased, but maybe I\u2019m old-fashioned for thinking that,” said Cavill. “It\u2019s very difficult to do that if there are certain rules in place. Because then it\u2019s like: \u2018Well, I don\u2019t want to go up and talk to her, because I\u2019m going to be called a rapist or something\u2019.”<\/p>\n
He subsequently issued an apology statement, telling The Hollywood Reporter that “insensitivity was absolutely not my intention.”<\/p>\n
