The official @SpotifyCares Twitter account offered nothing in the way of answers, merely asking noting that it would have the album &#8220;available to you as soon as it\u2019s available to us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That availability came at around 2:12AM ET Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Consisting of twenty-five tracks and now available on all the major streaming platforms, &#8220;Scorpion&#8221; is a virtual lock to set the opening week US streaming record.  The record of 431 million US streams currently belongs to Post Malone&#8217;s &#8220;Beerbongs &#038; Bentleys.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/2o9McLtDM7mbODV7yZF2mc\" width=\"300\" height=\"380\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allow=\"encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n====<\/p>\n<p>As of press time at 1:30AM ET, the biggest album of the year is conspicuously absent from the biggest streaming platform on the planet.<\/p>\n<p>While Drake&#8217;s double album &#8220;Scorpion&#8221; launched on other digital services (including iTunes, Apple Music and TIDAL) at or around midnight, it has not yet debuted on Spotify.<\/p>\n<p>The album&#8217;s absence from Spotify has become a major talking point on social media, with many fans directing questions to the @SpotifyCares Twitter account.<\/p>\n<p>Thus far, the account has not provided much in the way of details.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re afraid we don&#8217;t have any info right now,&#8221; reads a typical response from the Spotify customer care account. &#8220;Rest assured that we\u2019ll have it available to you as soon as it\u2019s available to us!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Drake camp has not yet commented on the matter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#8220;Scorpion&#8221;
