In conjunction with the release, the focus track “DDU-DU DDU-DU” earns a spot on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n
The song starts at #55 on the listing, which ranks songs from all genres based on sales, streams and radio airplay. Powered by a hit music video and ample support on Spotify, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” generated the lion’s share of its points on the streaming front. It generated enough streams, in fact, for a #39 position on the Streaming Songs subchart.<\/p>\n
It also attracted solid opening week sales interest.<\/p>\n
“DDU-DU DDU-DU” is the first Hot 100 entry for BLACKPINK. “As If It’s Your Last,” which previously ranked as the group’s top single in the US, peaked at #13 on the Bubbling Under<\/i> Hot 100.<\/p>\n
It is, moreover, the highest-charting hit by a K-pop girl group.
