As confirmed in the closing moments of last week’s episode, this Sunday’s “American Idol” adhere to a Carrie Underwood theme.<\/p>\n
The Top 5 contestants received mentorship from the season four “American Idol” winner. They, moreover, will each perform a song from her discography during Sunday’s episode.<\/p>\n
The contestants will also perform a second song. Selections come from the discographies of Whitney Houston, Jamey Johnson, Beach Boys, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Yolanda Adams.<\/p>\n
Underwood will also be at the show to perform her new single “Cry Pretty.”<\/p>\n
