Sources say Dan will have a &#8220;controversial hookup&#8221; in the early part of season three.  Meanwhile, Vanessa will begin a relationship with someone she &#8220;met briefly at the end of last season.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; &#8220;Fringe&#8221; is expected to open its second season with a segment that rivals the show-stopping season one finale in magnitude.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Word has already broken that Laura Leighton&#8217;s Sydney will appear dead in the &#8220;Melrose Place&#8221; pilot, with much of the first season devoted to solving her murder.
