This week’s editions of “Empire” and “STAR” predictably drew fewer viewers than last week’s spring premieres.<\/p>\n

They still fared well in terms of the overall television landscape.<\/p>\n

According to final national data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “Empire” drew a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 5.57 million overall viewers.<\/p>\n

The numbers trail the 2.0 rating and 6.22 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s episode.<\/p>\n

The demo rating is nonetheless strong 2018 television standards. It was, in fact, enough to position “Empire” as the night’s top-rated show.<\/p>\n

“Empire” led into “STAR,” which drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 4.21 million viewers.
