Update:<\/b> The final ratings report brings good news and bad news for The CW’s “Riverdale.”<\/p>\n
According to final data posted by Showbuzz, the adults 18-49 rating was adjusted up from a 0.4 to a 0.5. This week’s episode did not, therefore, set a new season low in the demo.<\/p>\n
The overall viewership figure was, however, adjusted down to 1.26 million. The figure trails the 1.28 million mark garnered by the previous episode — and represents a new season low.<\/p>\n
— “Riverdale” led into the series premiere of “Life Sentence.” The show drew a 0.2 in the demo and 0.67 million in viewership.<\/p>\n
The paltry numbers trail the 0.3 rating and 1.26 million viewer mark drawn by the October premiere of previous timeslot occupant “Dynasty.” They essentially align with what “Dynasty” regularly drew in the slot during the fall and winter.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “Riverdale” drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.31 million overall viewers.<\/p>\n
The previous episode, which aired on February 7, drew a 0.5 rating and 1.28 million viewers.<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that the February 7 episode received a 0.4 in the preliminary ratings before moving up to a 0.5 in the finals. If this week’s episode does not receive such an adjustment, it will rank as the lowest-rated installment of the season.<\/p>\n
As it currently stands, this week’s viewer mark represents the second-lowest tally of the season (ahead of only last week’s episode).<\/p>\n
— “Riverdale” led into “Life Sentence,” which failed to attract much interest for its series premiere.<\/p>\n
The episode posted a soft 0.3 rating in the demo and only 0.76 million in viewership.<\/p>\n
