To the surprise of many within the music industry, Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” was not nominated for Album Of The Year at the 60th Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n

It was, however, up for Best Pop Vocal Album.<\/p>\n

It won that award; news of the victory was announced during the afternoon premiere ceremony.<\/p>\n

“Divide” beat out Coldplay’s “Kaleidoscope” EP, Lana Del Rey’s “Lust For Life,” Imagine Dragons’ “Evolve,” Kesha’s “Rainbow,” and Lady Gaga’s “Joanne.”<\/p>\n

Sheeran is also up for Best Pop Solo Performance (“Shape Of You”).
