Some were not even born when Tammy “Sunny” Sytch was at her peak in WWE, but the teenage male demographic seemed intrigued by her video package on this week’s WWE RAW.<\/p>\n
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the quarter hour that included the Christian-Brodus Clay match and Sunny’s WWE Hall of Fame video package scored a 5.2 cable rating among teenage males 12-17, which made for one of the best-rated segments of the show in the demo. Given the demo’s lack of interest in matches similar to the Christian bout, it seems a reasonable conclusion that the Sunny highlights helped draw young males.<\/p>\n
The only segment that drew better with teen males was the angle with Michael Cole, JBL and Steve Austin, which drew a whopping 5.5 in the demo. Overall, that segment drew a 4.46 cable coverage rating, the best quarter the company has posted in a while.<\/p>\n
Given the success of the Sunny segment, one would assume that WWE’s male audience has a general thirst for scantily-clad women.
