According to F4WOnline.com, the events on Monday’s WWE RAW were indeed designed to serve as short-term write-outs for Alex Riley and Michael McGillicutty.<\/p>\n

The story says that WWE intends to repackage the two stars for an eventual return to weekly television, with the possibility of a return to developmental not out of the question.<\/p>\n

Both have their supporters, but the feeling was that neither was truly clicking in his current role.<\/p>\n

The presumed launching of McGillicutty’s hiatus was executed in script-form via a trademark “punt” from Randy Orton.
