After last week’s unexpected downturn, Tuesday’s network television series made improvements this week. Unfortunately for FOX’s “Glee,” CBS’ “NCIS” made a much more significant improvement and finally won the 8PM timeslot among adults 18-49.<\/p>\n
“NCIS” improved dramatically over last week’s number to a 4.4 rating and 21.28 million viewers, topping the 4.3 demo rating and 10.50 million viewership for “Glee.” “NCIS” always dominates the viewership race, but this marked the show’s first head-to-head win in the ad-friendly young adults demographic.<\/p>\n
FOX’s 9PM remains weak, but things definitely perked up from last week–“Raising Hope” rebounded from last week’s crash to a 2.5 and 6.21 million, while “Traffic Light” was up to a 1.7 and 4.10 million in week three. “Traffic Light” is certainly still a bomb, but it does seem like it will represent a slight improvement over “Running Wilde” going forward.<\/p>\n
CBS’ “NCIS: Los Angeles” dominated that hour, however, scoring a 3.9 and 18.58 million.
