In today’s music market, artists are proving increasingly capable of achieving success without support in traditional channels.

One such artist is Malu Trevejo, who has built a passionate, supportive fanbase across various social channels and digital platforms (including Instagram and TikTok). The proof? Strong streaming numbers despite nearly no mainstream media hype.

The 16-year-old artist’s “Down 4 Your Love,” as an example, crossed the 2 million YouTube view mark just over three weeks after its release.

Not strictly a solid YouTube performer, “Down 4 Your Love” has also amassed nearly 350,000 streams on Spotify.

To date, Trevejo’s most successful video release is “Luna Llena” with over 89 million views. Her just-released “Think About” is at nearly 400,000 views after just three days in the market.
