Hot 100: Pentatonix Scores Second Top 30 Hit with “Mary, Did You Know?”

What a week for a capella sensation Pentatonix.

In addition to reaching a new peak of #3 on the Billboard 200 album sales chart courtesy “That’s Christmas to Me,” the act also scores a second top thirty hit on the Billboard Hot 100 track chart.

The group’s “Mary, Did You Know?” enters the chart at #26 this week. The Hot 100’s highest weekly debut, it is Pentatonix’ highest-charting effort outside of “Little Drummer Boy.”

That song reached #13 last December.

“Mary, Did You Know?” comes in ahead of two other Holiday-themed efforts. Band Aid 30’s “Do They Know it’s Christmas” starts at #63, while Idina Menzel and Michael Buble’s “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” is good for a #78 launch.
