Last week, Khalid x Normani’s “Love Lies” moved up to #2 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

This week, it improves to #1.

Played ~19,107 times during the September 9-15 tracking period, “Love Lies” seizes the throne from Post Malone’s “Better Now.” This week’s count tops last week’s mark by 433 spins.

Khalid previously reached #1 at pop radio as a featured artist on Logic’s “1-800-273-8255.” Normani hit the chart’s summit as part of Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home.”

“Love Lies,” however, marks each artist’s first time hitting #1 as a named lead artist.

The song has demonstrated impressive longevity; it reaches #1 in its twenty-fifth week on the chart.

The aforementioned “Better Now” falls to #2 with ~18,768 spins (-404).

Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B)” holds at #3 with ~17,485 spins (-619), while a play count of ~15,087 (+170) lifts Selena Gomez’s “Back To You” one spot to #4.

Up one place, 5 Seconds Of Summer’s “Youngblood” earns #5 with ~14,247 spins (+1,312).
