Report: Nas’ “NASIR” Debuts With ~49K US Sales, ~79K Total US Units

“NASIR” should debut in the Top 5 on this week’s Billboard Top Album Sales and 200 charts.

How did Nas’ “NASIR” album perform during its first week of availability? An early answer to that question is available.

According to Hits Daily Double and BuzzAngle, “NASIR” sold about 49K pure US copies during its first week of release. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) lifts that number to 79K.

While Billboard’s more authoritative data may not precisely mirror that reported by Hits, it should not drastically differ.

Assuming the numbers indeed hold up, “NASIR” should earn Top 5 positions on the Billboard Top Album Sales (pure sales) and Billboard 200 (consumption) charts.
