Last week was rather light when it comes to new song certifications in Australia.

This week, on the other hand, sees several new songs earn new platinum awards.

Post Malone’s “Better Now,” Amy Shark’s “I Said Hi,” Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left To Cry,” Drake’s “Nice For What,” Kygo’s “Remind Me To Forget (featuring Miguel),” Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood,” and The Weeknd & Kendrick Lamar’s “Pray For Me” all receive platinum awards this week. A platinum certification signifies at least 70,000 in Australian units.

All but “Pray For Me” currently appear on the ARIA Australian Top 50 Singles Chart.

“Better Now” occupies the #2 position on the listing, while “I Said Hi” is #6. Both are at their chart peaks. Former #1 hits “No Tears Left To Cry” and “Nice For What” follow at #7 and #11 on this week’s chart, respectively.

“Remind Me To Forget” is #18 (peak was #14), and “In My Blood” is #22 (peak was #9).

“Pray For Me,” which peaked at #9 earlier this year, is not on this week’s chart. Auspop first reported the certification.
