Kanye West’s “Yikes” Debuts At #8 On Hot 100; All “Ye” Tracks Make Top 40

Kanye West’s “ye” tracks fare well on this week’s Hot 100.

Kanye West’s “ye” debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200.

Its seven tracks meanwhile earn spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“Yikes” leads the way at #8. “All Mine” also fares impressively, in its case starting at #11 on the chart.

The Billboard Hot 100 ranks songs from all genres based on sales, streams and radio airplay.

The “ye” tracks generated the lion’s share of their activity on the streaming front. They actually averaged over 25 million streams this week, which represents the second-best per-track figure on record. Only J. Cole’s “KOD” (just under 27 million) posted a greater opening week average.

This week’s other “ye” positions: “Ghost Town” (#16), “Wouldn’t “Leave” (#25), “Violent Crimes” (#27), “I Thought About Killing You” (#28), and “No Mistakes” (#36)
