Kane Brown formally released his new single “Lose It” early Thursday morning.

By Friday afternoon, it had risen to the top of the US iTunes sales chart.

The very top of the chart, in fact. “Lose It” is #1 as of press time at 1:35PM ET Friday.

The song, which formally impacts country radio later this month, seized the throne from Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B).” That song had ruled since premiering last Thursday.

“Girls Like You” is now #2 on the chart, while Florida Georgia Line’s “Simple” and Imagine Dragons’ “Whatever It Takes” respectively follow at #3 and #4.

Post Malone’s “Psycho (featuring Ty Dolla $ign),” which is set to take over the #1 spot on this week’s pop radio chart, is #5 on iTunes.
