Ratings: “Grey’s Anatomy” Dominates With Season Finale, Wedding

The “Grey’s Anatomy” season finale was Thursday’s top-rated and most-watched show.

Airing without major competition, the season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy” predictably dominated the Thursday night ratings race.

The episode, which featured Alex and Jo’s wedding, ranked as the night’s highest-rated program by a significant margin. It also led in overall viewers.

Fast national data posted by Showbuzz reveals it drew a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 7.54 million viewers.

Per final ratings data, last week’s episode drew a 1.9 and 7.35 million viewers.

As “Grey’s” tends to receive an upward adjustment in the finals, it is likely this week’s season finale will end up ahead in both columns.

The closest competition in adults 18-49 came from a “Young Sheldon” re-run, which drew a 1.1. A re-run of “The Big Bang Theory” was the night’s #2 show in viewers (7.13 million).

— ABC’s Thursday also included “Station 19” (1.0, 5.11 million) and “What Would You Do” (0.6, 2.71 million).
