“Kevin,” “Deception,” “Inhumans,” “The Crossing,” More Canceled By ABC

ABC swings the ax on several bubble series.

Earlier Friday, news broke that ABC had canceled “Quantico” and “Designated Survivor.”

Hours later, the network issued cancellation notices to several freshman series.

“Deception,” “Kevin (Probably) Saves The World,” “Marvel’s Inhumans,” “The Crossing,” and “Ten Days In The Valley” have all been canceled.

ABC also formally dropped “The Mayor” — its cancellation had been presumed when the network pulled it from the schedule earlier this year.

None of the cancellations is surprising from a ratings standpoint; any optimism of survival hinged on the hope that ABC would keep some bubble shows to patch midseason scheduling holes.
