“Mean Girls” Star Barrett Wilbert Weed Performs On Fallon’s “Tonight Show”

Thursday’s “Tonight Show” closed with a performance by the “Mean Girls” cast member.

Update: The new “Mean Girls” Broadway musical took center stage on Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Book writer Tina Fey participated in an interview on the episode. She also surprised fans in a pre-produced sketch.

Later, cast member Barrett Wilbert Weed took the stage to sing “I’d Rather Be Me.”

The new “Mean Girls” Broadway musical receives ample exposure on Thursday’s edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

In addition to featuring book writer Tina Fey as its lead guest, the episode welcomes cast member Barrett Wilbert Weed.

Weed, who plays Janis Sarkisian in the musical, closes the show with a performance.

Taped earlier in the day, Thursday’s “Tonight Show” additionally features an interview with “Westworld” star Evan Rachel Wood. It airs at 11:35PM ET/PT on NBC.
