Late last year, “When It Rains It Pours” became the second Luke Combs single to hit #1 at country radio.
Last week, it became the second Luke Combs single to go platinum in the United States.
According to the RIAA, “When It Rains It Pours” attained platinum status on April 11, 2018.
The award confirms 1 million in US units, with each unit equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“When It Rains It Pours” was the follow-up to Luke Combs’ “Hurricane,” which has since attained double-platinum status in the US.
Both songs appear on Combs’ album “This One’s For You,” which holds a gold certification.
