Projections have finally emerged for Jason Aldean’s “Rearview Town,” and they confirm what many assumed: “Rearview Town” is on pace to debut at #1 on this week’s charts.

According to Hits Daily Double, the ACM Entertainer of the Year’s new album should sell 158-163,000 pure US copies this week. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield a first-week consumption tally in the 171-176,000 range.

The pure sales total will earn “Rearview Town” #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart, while the consumption tally should be enough for a #1 bow on the Billboard 200.

In winning for Entertainer of the Year and performing “You Make It Easy,” Jason Aldean received ample exposure during Sunday’s ACM Awards. The extent of the sales boost Hits Daily Double is expecting remains unclear, but that obviously could impact the numbers. Check back later in the week for updated projections.
