As the music community raves over her third album “Golden Hour,” Kacey Musgraves can celebrate RIAA certifications for her first album era.
According to the RIAA, Musgraves’ Grammy-winning album “Same Trailer Different Park” attained platinum status on April 4, 2018.
Album singles “Follow Your Arrow” and “Blowin’ Smoke” went platinum and gold, respectively.
The platinum awards confirm 1 million in US units, while the gold award signifies 500,000. For albums, units are defined as 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams, while single units are equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“Same Trailer Different Park” peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200. “Follow Your Arrow” went as high as #60 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Blowin’ Smoke” hit #7 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100.
