Making good on the early-week projection, Camila Cabello’s “Never Be The Same” moves into the Top 5 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Up two places, “Never Be The Same” takes #4 on this week’s listing.

The “Camila” track received ~14,078 spins during the April 1-7 tracking period. This week’s count tops last week’s mark by 1,794.

The impressive week-over-week increase represents pop radio’s second-greatest gain. Only Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood” (+2,106) received a bigger lift.

“Never Be The Same” becomes Cabello’s third Top 5 pop radio hit as a soloist. She previously entered the region — and hit #1 — with her Machine Gun Kelly collaboration “Bad Things” and own “Havana (featuring Young Thug).”

Cabello also twice hit the Top 5 as part of Fifth Harmony. The group’s “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” and “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink)” peaked at #1 and #4, respectively.
