Rihanna Announces New US Certifications For Six Albums; “Good Girl Gone Bad” Hits 6x Platinum

Six Rihanna albums just received new multi-platinum certifications in the US.

In a Saturday afternoon Tweet, Rihanna shared news of six new RIAA album certifications.

The biggest certification was delivered to Rihanna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad.” The album attained 6x platinum status in the United States.

The certification confirms 6 million in US units, with each unit equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

Rihanna’s other new certifications are as follows:
— “ANTI” (3x platinum / 3 million units)
— “Talk That Talk” (3x platinum / 3 million units)
— “LOUD” (3x platinum / 3 million units)
— “Rated R” (2x platinum / 2 million units)
— “A Girl Like Me” (2x platinum / 2 million units)
