Last week, Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” reached #11 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This week, it moves into the Top 10.

The song rises to #8 on this week’s edition of the all-genre chart. In doing so, it becomes the first Top 10 hit for both Morris and Grey.

It is the fourth Top 10 hit for Zedd, who previously entered the region with as a featured artist on Ariana Grande’s “Break Free,” and as a lead artist on “Stay (with Alessia Cara)” and “Clarity (featuring Foxes).”

The Top 10 ascent also yields another noteworthy chart story: a rare case (certainly in recent memory) of two country artists holding Top 10 positions on the all-genre Hot 100. In addition to “The Middle” collaborator Morris, this week’s Top 10 features Florida Georgia Line (featured on Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be”).
