Over the next few weeks, TBS will be taping upcoming installments of its “Drop The Mic” series.
The March 18 taping will have a pro wrestling slant.
Adhering to a “PRO vs. GLOW” theme, the episode will feature members of the WWE roster and stars of Netflix’s “GLOW” series.
Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Carmella, and Alicia Fox will represent WWE, while Kate Nash, Jackie Tohn, Sunita Mani and Britney Young will appear on behalf of the Netflix show.
The episode will air as part of the forthcoming second season; the specific airdate has not yet been revealed.
Based on the sketch from “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” TBS’ “Drop The Mic” invites celebrities to participate in rap battles.
