Demi Lovato Confirms 3x Platinum Certification For “Sorry Not Sorry”

Demi Lovato’s hit single just crossed the 3 million unit mark.

Demi Lovato, who is currently on her “Tell Me You Love Me” tour, shared some good news Monday morning.

The pop star Tweeted that her hit single “Sorry Not Sorry” reached a new multi-platinum tier.

According to Lovato, the former pop radio #1 is now triple platinum. While the artist’s Tweet does not specify the region, it seems clear that the certification is specific to the United States.

The award signifies 3 million in US units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

The RIAA has not officially added the certification to its database, but such confirmation is likely coming soon.

“Sorry Not Sorry” peaked at #6 on the Hot 100.
