“Love Lies,” Khalid & Normani’s contribution to the “Love, Simon” soundtrack, is currently charting prominently on the US iTunes and Spotify charts.

As of press time at 1:15PM ET Saturday, “Love Lies” is #8 on the all-genre iTunes single sales chart. It meanwhile claims #18 on the daily all-genre Spotify chart (based on Friday streaming).

“Love Lies,” which was released on Valentine’s Day, notably ranks as the top new release on both charts.

In addition to fan support for both artists and clear enthusiasm over the collaboration, “Love Lies” is benefiting from prominent positioning on the digital platforms. It is currently #1 on the iTunes “Best Of The Week” list. It meanwhile occupies the top spot on Spotify’s popular “New Music Friday” playlist, while holding an upper-half position on “Today’s Top Hits.”

After releasing the audio on Wednesday, Khalid and Normani shared the official music video on Friday. The video has since amassed 1.3 million views, is #2 on YouTube’s Trending Chart (below only Drake’s “God’s Plan” video).

“Love Lies” has, moreover, received some attention at pop radio. Las Vegas’ 98.5 and Scranton’s BHT had each played the song twice by the close of Friday.
