Wednesday’s “Riverdale” was the least-watched episode of the season.

Update: Updated ratings data has emerged for this Wednesday’s edition of “Riverdale.”

The update contains good and bad news.

The good news? According to national data posted by Showbuzz, the show ended up with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating as opposed to the 0.4 reported in the preliminaries. That means it avoided setting a new season low in that column.

The bad news? Overall live+same-day viewership stayed at a season low level (it actually adjusted down to 1.28 million).

Last week’s episode drew a 0.5 in the demo and 1.34 million in viewers.

For the first time since November 1, “Riverdale” did not draw a 0.5 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.

This news, unfortunately, is of the negative variety. This week’s episode went below – not above – the 0.5 rating that has become commonplace.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “Riverdale” drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.29 million overall viewers.

Down from the 0.5 rating and 1.34 million viewer mark drawn last week, this week’s numbers represent new season lows.

— “Riverdale” led into “Dynasty,” which drew a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.66 million overall viewers. The demo rating matches that of last week’s episode, while the viewer figure reflects a slight increase (last week’s installment reached 0.65 million).
