Royal Blood’s “I Only Lie When I Love You” extends its already-impressive reign as active rock radio’s leading song.

Played ~1,734 times during the January 28-February 3 tracking week, “I Only Lie” spends a seventh week atop the Mediabase active rock airplay chart.

This week’s play count trails last week’s mark by 98 spins, but it still keeps Royal Blood’s tune atop the chart.

Its closest competition comes from Papa Roach’s “Born For Greatness.” The song, which was #3 last week, takes #2 on the strength of its ~1,646 plays (+114).

Credited with ~1,558 spins (+177), Pop Evil’s “Waking Lions” rises one spot to #3.

Seether’s “Betray And Degrade” falls two spots to #4 with ~1,499 (-108), while Greta Van Fleet’s “Safari Song” holds at #5 thanks to its ~1,440 spins (+167).
