Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” Wins Grammy Award For Best Pop Solo Performance

Ed Sheeran won two Grammys at Sunday’s ceremony.

To the surprise of many, Ed Sheeran was not nominated for any of the general field categories at the 60th Grammy Awards.

He did, however, receive nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Earlier in the day, his “Divide” was named the year’s Best Pop Vocal Album.

Sunday night, he picked up the trophy for Best Pop Solo Performance.

Sheeran, who was not in attendance at the ceremony, beat out Kelly Clarkson (“Love So Soft”), Kesha (“Praying”), Lady Gaga (“Million Reasons”) and P!nk (“What About Us”).
