Bruno Mars, Labrinth, James Bay, Christina Perri Songs Reach 2x Platinum In UK

“Grenade,” “Beneath Your Beautiful,” “Let It Go, and “A Thousand Years” have hit the 1.2 million mark.

The BPI just wrapped its weekly UK certifications announcement.

That announcement included news of new multi-platinum song certifications for Bruno Mars, Labrinth, James Bay and Christina Perri.

Mars picked up a double-platinum award for “Grenade.” Labrinth went 2x platinum with “Beneath Your Beautiful (featuring Emeli Sande),” while Bay scored a double-platinum honor for “Let It Go.”

“A Thousand Years,” Perri’s “Twilight” smash, also crossed the 2x platinum threshold.

A double-platinum certification confirms at least 1.2 million in UK units.

“Grenade” and “Beneath Your Beautiful” both hit #1 on the UK Singles Chart. “Let It Go” peaked at #10, while “A Thousand Years” went as high as #11.
