Numerous Christmas songs exit this week’s chart.

Combined with growing momentum, that reality helps Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso’s “Let Me Go (featuring Florida Georgia Line & Watt)” reach a new peak on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

The song, which was #55 on last week’s chart, improves to #40 on this week’s listing.

The Hot 100 ranks songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay.

“Let Me Go” becomes Hailee Steinfeld’s third Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. She previously entered the territory with “Starving” (#12 peak)” and “Love Myself” (#30 peak).

It is the second Top 40 hit for Alesso. “Heroes,” his only other chart entry, went as high as #31.
