Imagine Dragons’ multi-format smash “Thunder” continues to rank as hot adult contemporary radio’s top song.

Played ~6,944 times during the December 31-January 6 tracking period (+230), “Thunder” enjoys a seventh week at #1 on the Mediabase Hot AC chart.

Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” retains the runner-up position. The ballad posted a tracking period play count of ~6,756 (+321).

The entire Top 5 is, in fact, stationary this week. Maroon 5’s “What Lovers Do (featuring SZA)” spends another week at #3 with ~5,929 plays (+137), while Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” holds at #4 with ~5,479 spins (+137).

Camila Cabello’s “Havana (featuring Young Thug),” which received ~5,078 spins (+337), keeps the #5 position.

— The top gainer on this week’s chart is Justin Timberlake’s new “Filthy.” Despite not arriving until the sixth day of the tracking week, “Filthy” received about 551 spins. It will debut inside the Top 30.
