Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” extends its reign as hot adult contemporary radio’s top song.

Played ~6,713 times during the December 17-23 tracking period (+65), “Thunder” enjoys a fifth week atop the Mediabase Hot AC chart.

Like last week, its closest competition comes from Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.” The Sheeran ballad posted a tracking period play count of ~6,274 (+255).

Maroon 5’s “What Lovers Do (featuring SZA)” holds at #3 with ~5,812 spins (+4), while a spin count of ~5,519 (-219) keeps Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” at #4.

P!nk’s “What About Us,” which received ~4,784 spins (-231), spends another week at #5.
