Blink-182’s “California” Album Earns Gold Certification; Single “Bored To Death” Also Goes Gold

blink-182’s 2016 album “California” and lead single “Bored To Death” have officially attained gold status in the United States.

The RIAA issued both certifications on December 6, 2017.

The “California” certification confirms 500,000 in US album units. Each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

The “Bored To Death” certification signifies 500,000 in US digital single units. For single certifications, a unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“California” debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. “Bored To Death” hit #1 at alternative radio and #85 on the Billboard Hot 100.
