“Coco” Leads US Weekend Box Office

“Coco” claims first place at the US weekend box office.

Only one major film debuted at the US box office this week.

“Coco,” that film, earns #1 on the US weekend box office chart.

According to studio estimates, “Coco” will earn about $49.0 million over the November 24-26 weekend. With its first two days included, “Coco” boasts a cumulative gross of $71.2 million.

“Justice League,” last weekend’s winner, settles for #2 this weekend. It added $40.7 million to its haul (cume now $171.5 million).

“Wonder” takes #3 with $22.3 million (cume now $69.4 million), while “Thor: Ragnarok” grabs #4 on the strength of its $16.8 million in receipts (cume now $277.5 million).

“Daddy’s Home 2,” which earned $13.3 million (cume now $72.7 million), grabs #5 on the weekend chart.
