Ratings: AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Rises This Week

“The Walking Dead” enjoyed week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

Sunday’s edition of “The Walking Dead” drew a slightly bigger audience than the previous episode.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “TWD” drew a 3.87 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 8.69 million overall viewers.

The numbers best the 3.79 rating and 8.52 million viewer mark garnered by last week’s broadcast.

As is the norm, this week’s episode was Sunday’s #1 cable original in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

It was, moreover, Sunday night’s #1 non-sports program in the adults 18-49 demographic. It was the #2 non-sports program among total viewers; CBS’ “60 Minutes” reached a larger mass of viewers.

— “TWD” led into “Talking Dead,” which posted a 1.28 rating and averaged 3.12 million viewers.
