Opening week sales projections have arrived for Blake Shelton’s “Texoma Shore.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the album is expected to sell approximately 48-52,000 pure US copies this week.

TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) will add a few thousand extra consumption units.

The album’s pure sales figure will determine its position on Billboard Top Album Sales. The consumption mark will inform placement on the Billboard 200.

“Texoma Shore” may reach the Top 5 on both charts, but the numbers are modest by Blake Shelton standards. His previous album “If I’m Honest” sold 153,000 pure copies and generated 170,000 consumption units in its first week.

— “Texoma Shore” will be the third-best-selling of this week’s new releases. Sam Smith’s “The Thrill Of It All” (~170-175,000 pure sales, 210-215,000 units) and Maroon 5’s “Red Pill Blues” (90-95,000 pure sales, 105-110,000 units) are pacing for markedly stronger numbers.
