Singer-songwriter Daya recently began teasing a new single.

Entitled “New,” the track is coming this week.

Interscope’s radio team confirms that “New” will be released to pop radio at 9PM PT on the night of Wednesday, October 11. It will presumably launch concurrently on the major digital sales/streaming platforms.

The label has not yet announced an official “impact” date for the single, but it will obviously be available for immediate airplay.

“New” marks Daya’s first single since signing with Interscope. Her previous radio tracks “Hide Away,” “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” “Words” and “Talk” were released on the independent Artbeatz label.

In a Tuesday morning Tweet, songwriter (and frequent Daya collaborator) Leland revealed that he co-wrote “New” with Daya, Stargate, Sir Nolan and James Newman.
