“What Lovers Do” and “Thunder” improve their positions at hot adult contemporary radio.

Maroon 5’s “What Lovers Do (featuring SZA)” and Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” rise to new highs on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart.

The former rises two places to #9 on this week’s listing. The latter climbs three places to #14.

“What Lovers Do” received 3,813 spins during the October 1-7 tracking week. This week’s spin count tops last week’s mark by 250.

“Thunder” posted a tracking period play count of 2,634, besting last week’s mark by 645. “Thunder” was the tracking period’s greatest airplay gainer.
