The Killers’ “The Man” Reaches #1 At Alternative Radio

“The Man” completes its run to the top of the alternative chart.

Last week, The Killers’ “Wonderful Wonderful” earned #1 on the Billboard 200 album consumption chart.

This week, the lead single from that album reaches #1 on the Mediabase alternative airplay chart.

The song, which was #2 last week, earns #1 on the strength of its 3,109 tracking period spins. This week’s spin count tops last week’s mark by 202 plays.

“The Man” seizes the throne from Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still,” which spent fourteen of the past fifteen weeks at #1.

Credited with 3,077 spins for the October 1-7 tracking week (-81), “Feel It Still” takes #2 on this week’s chart.

Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” holds at #3 with 2,964 plays (+139), while Judah & The Lion’s “Suit & Jacket” holds at #4 with 2,755 (+79).

Thirty Seconds To Mars’ “Walk On Water,” which received 2,331 spins (+185), spends another week at #5.
