Ed Sheeran’s global smash “Shape Of You” just received an upgraded digital single certification in the United States.
According to the RIAA, “Shape Of You” reached 6x platinum on September 21, 2017.
The award confirms 6 million US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“Shape Of You” was a multi-week #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also spent multiple weeks atop the pop, hot adult contemporary and adult contemporary airplay charts.
