Now active at pop and hot adult contemporary radio, Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” continues to receive mainstream exposure.

Music fans evidently like what they are hearing.

The song reached #1 on the US iTunes sales chart Tuesday afternoon. It holds that position as of press time at 3:20PM ET.

“Thunder” has been a strong iTunes performer for weeks, but it had not previously reached the chart’s pinnacle.

In reaching #1, “Thunder” sent Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” down to #2.

“Look What You Made Me Do,” interestingly, is currently selling at a discounted $0.69 price point. “Thunder” is selling for the usual $1.29 rate.

Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” (also discounted) is currently #3 on the chart, while Macklemore’s “Good Old Days (featuring Kesha)” (#4) and Post Malone’s “rockstar (featuring 21 savage)” (#5) complete the Top 5.
