Update: To support her new movie “Mother!,” Jennifer Lawrence appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

In addition to joining Jimmy Fallon for an interview, the Oscar winner challenged the “Tonight Show” host to an Axe-Throwing Contest.

To generate additional excitement for the release, star Jennifer Lawrence appears on Tuesday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The Oscar-winning actress joins host Jimmy Fallon for an interview on the broadcast. She and Fallon also participate in an axe-throwing challenge.

Taped earlier Tuesday, the episode also features an appearance by Pedro Pascal and performance by Patti Smith. It airs at 11:35PM ET/PT on NBC.
