U2 Performed On Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”

U2 took the stage on Thursday’s “Fallon.” Bono and The Edge also sat for an interview.

Update: Thursday’s edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” featured an appearance by U2.

The iconic band performed two songs on the episode: classic track “Bullet The Blue Sky” and new radio single “You’re The Best Thing About Me.”

Members Bono and The Edge also joined host Jimmy Fallon for an interview.

Airing after the first NFL game of the season, Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” is position to attract a large audience.

It, fittingly, features a very high-profile guest list: Reese Witherspoon and U2.

The Oscar-winning Witherspoon appears as the episode’s lead interview guest; she also participates in a “Cooler Heads” sketch.

U2 performs on the episode. Photos suggest they performed new single “You’re The Best Thing About Me” as well as “Joshua Tree” Track “Bullet The Blue Sky.” It is unclear if both will air during the actual broadcast.

U2 members Bono and The Edge also join host Jimmy Fallon for an interview.

Set to air following the conclusion of the Patriots-Chiefs game and late local news coverage, the east coast feed will air later than usual. NBC estimates the broadcast start time at 12:05AM ET.
