Katy Perry, who ranks as the #3 artist for US digital single certifications, just received a new multi-platinum award.

The artist’s “The One That Got Away” officially crossed the 4x platinum threshold.

Issued by the RIAA on August 4, the certification confirms 4 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“The One That Got Away” was issued as the sixth single from Perry’s “Teenage Dream” album. It peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
